Sponsorship
IPER runs a Child Sponsorship Programme which began in 2001 for supporting the cost of their education, one meal a day and emergency Health Care.
More than 60 children are sponsored both by Indian and foreign sponsors. Beside India sponsors are from such countries as Finland, UK, US and Czechoslovakia.
Sponsorship is given to those children who come from very low-income group families, many of them struggle hard to continue their career in education. Often the sponsorship support is the only source by which they can follow their dream.
Sponsorship Programme consists of the following components

★ Full educational support till completion of school with accessories like books, school uniforms, shoes, etc. In higher education which is costly in nature, the cost is supplemented to a large extent.
★ Emergency health care and treatment with referral
★ One meal a day and special support in case of a sickness
The sponsored children receive their afternoon meal from IPER kitchen, and if sick they are referred to State Hospitals. Many of them attend the Remedial learning centre at IPER. Many girls who are sponsored live in the Shelter that is run at IPER premises.
The sponsored children come to our Institute (centre) and spend the day in learning, playing and creative activities. They are provided with support for nutritional supplementation, education and health care with basic treatment and counselling.
If a child is sponsored, the sponsor receives sponsorship reports about the sponsored child twice a year and greetings in festival seasons, Christmas and New Year. The sponsor can have their photographs. The sponsor can maintain personal contact with the sponsored child through our organisation. Children can write to the sponsor letters and send best wishes on different occasions, since they write in their mother tongue they are translated and mailed to the sponsor.
Many of the sponsored children have excelled in their performances and some are pursuing B.Tech, LLB, B.Ed., Chartered accountancy, Cost accountancy, Automobile engineering. Many are doing their higher education at the graduation and post-graduation level. Not only academics but also a few have been able to secure employment in places like IT Company, Attorney firm, schools, shops and one is practising Law in the Court.
