IPER is working with the communities in different ways like creating awareness on vital issues like health, education, seasonal diseases, protection, and so on. IPER also reaches our t to the community with necessary support during natural calamities and even in specific needs of certain families or communities. Different camps are held on eye-check-up, dental check-up, screening on different health parameters by blood tests, screening for cervical cancer, tuberculosis, diabetes, Thalassemia. With children IPER is facilitating making of Adhaar cards, Birth Certificates both for children and adults. It organises legal camps with District Committee Protection Unit (DCPU). IPER also works closely with State Committee for Protection Child Rights (SCPCR) for children living in dire poverty for getting their due rights.

IPER helps children and community people to open Bank Accounts. It also gives advices on joining such government run facilities like Pradhan Mantri Atal Pension Yojona, Jiban Jyoti Yojona and Pradhan Mantri Bima Suraksha Yojona. IPER does networking with legal aids, in two Wards of Ward Level Child Protection Committee in Kolkata Municipal Corporation. It does meetings with the government officials for the development of the children. IPER arranges bi-monthly health check-ups for the children in the community. It also makes arrangement for immunisation. IPER sends special children to get help from special schools. Along with Thalassemia awareness and identification of cases too is carried out.

IPER does networking with government officials as per the need of the children for shelter. IPER sometimes organise food distribution in the community.
