Training & Workshop

Training is a crucial segment of IPER’s regularly runs multi- dimensional training programme on counseling, advocacy, project management, child development, gender issues, communication and so on. IPER has also published literatures and training manuals on different social issues. Capacity building of different stakeholders is the mandate of IPER.
Members of staff and Teachers In-service training with teachers are held at least twice a year on

Training Manual for Teachers, Caregivers, Parents & NGO functionaries IPER has prepared Training Manuals and Modules for different stakeholder groups like teachers, care- givers, social workers, parents, N G O functionaries, Social Welfare Officers and workers of Tea Gardens and other business houses. IPER published Training manuals for ‘Traumatized Children for Teachers, Parents and Care- giver’, ‘Parental Education Program me’ [PEP], ‘Teachers handbook for English and Bengali.

Psychometric testing & Guidance
IPER developed and standardized a number tests on intelligence, interest, personality, reasoning and allied traits. These tests developed in English and regional languages are suitable for scientific assessment of different attributes of both adults and children. Presently a psychometric section is run at IPER where beside psychological assessment counseling and guidance services too are offered to assess the psychometric qualities and provide guidance.
